I can do anything!

Helllo!  I'm loving the DCWV Watercolor stack  right now. You can find it at Joann stores. I'm also very much into doilies and mixed media.  I've added pieces from the 6x6 stitched stack love having pre-stitched pieces so i dont have to drag out my sewing machine. Do you love the watercolor trend?

Happy and Meh!

Hi Everyone! This is my baby and one of my dogs.  She loves to hug him, and even try to climb him. She LOVES him.  He tolerates her and her affection LOL.  This is their relationship!  I used the Market Street collection by My Mind's Eye along with the new Simple Stories Carpe Diem and the beautiful hearts vellum by Shimelle.

live, love, laugh

Hey there! This layout has a fun story behind it. We thought we would surprise my mom by not telling her that we were coming and by bringing a 'gag' cake as a joke before the real cake. I don't think either of those worked out. My step dad spilled the beans about the surprise visit and she actually liked the gag cake. Sigh!  I used the Confetti stack and the Paint and Create stack heart of gold. The cute frames are from freckled fawn. I used a lot of enamel dots to simulate confetti. Great way to use up my stash.  How do you use your stash of enamel dots?

The fox says Naa-Naa!

Hello! I made a layout about my recent obsession with foxes (they're so cute!). My daughter has learned to like them too and loves to watch the music video, 'What does the Fox say?' According to her, the fox says 'Naa-Naa!' (in a high pitched voice). I documented this cuteness before it becomes one of the many things I will forget about her early days. I used the Classy Copper stack out at Michael's. I cut the letters out of one of the metallic copper sheets that come in the stack. It's smooth paper so, I used a sharpie for the journaling. This stack is just gorgeous. I can't wait to play with it some more! Have you seen Classy Copper yet? Have you used it? I'd love to see what you made. Also, let me know if you have a thing for foxes too ;)

April Stack a holic challenge

Hello stack-a-holics!  Here is my take on the April Challenge:  I used the DCWV Scripts and Music Notes stack out at Michael's. Perfect for this photo of baby playing in the falling leaves. We threw the leaves up for the photo op but it was still fun for her!  It's based on this sketch  I also made a card this month!  I colored the tag when I was playing around with my markers coloring on the new Paint and Create set 'Heart of Gold' (out at Joann stores). Then I decided to use it for the challenge  and I found this old sticker in my stash. Perfect! I can still add more details once I know who the recipient will be :) It's based on this sketch:
