Free Digi Files. Quick little bookmarks :)

Image
Hello all,  I hope your week has been wonderful!  I wanted to share these free digi files to make bookmarks...and anything else you can think of. These are sponsored by the wonderful people at MyMemories   But you can use them with any software,  they're .png files.  You can even insert them as pictures into word documents and resize as needed!  This is what I created with them. You can just print them and cut them out.  How great would this be for little gifts for your students or your children and their classmates?! .  You can make them double sided if you glue or laminate 2 of them back to back :)  There are also ready made bookmarks in .jpg files  Once again, you don't need to get the software to make these.  The files are totally free! I really like the software and it's the only digi scrapbooking software I've liked.  If you're interested there is a code on my sidebar that gives you a discount on the software.  Here are the links where you can find the

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to show you a little bag that I made with a bag I saved from My Scraps and More . It's a cute little online store. Tammi packages the product beautifully in a big brown paper bag (inside a box of course). I couldn't throw away the bags so I kept them to see what I could use them for. This weekend I cut one up and made this smaller bag that fits tags for 4x6 pictures. I made it for my DH who is going away on business. I always like to sneak a little something in his bag ;) I won't show you the picture tags because their way too sticky sweet... lol I made the pull tabs with wide ribbons, you can see them peeking out a little bit. I decorated the front with a misted doily, a sticker and rub-ons and the back is stamped with this really cute Maya Road stamp. Hope I encouraged you to reuse ;)  Thanks for visiting!

Green X3!!!

Check out my entry for the Crafter's Companion USA March "Going Green" Challenge: This is green times 3!  1. It's recycled. I make my own magazine holders out of empty cereal boxes. I use them to store my stamps also :)  2. This magazine holder is also covered with some brown paper that I saved from the packaging on one of my online orders.  3. And of course, the greenery of the "Ivy" stamp from CC.  It's a paint fusion stamp. I stamped it in brown and painted it with acrylic paints.  I only did one side of it because I want to practice more before I do the rest of it.  The paint fusion stamps are pretty neat because they come with a reusable practice sheet.  I used some gold highlights just for fun :)  In order to stamp and paint on the holder, I filled it up with magazines  and a hardcover book. I really enjoyed this challenge because I think it's important to reuse & recycle... and I was looking forward to reusing and making an altered p
